Coming home from work my daughter met me in the hallway
declaring the halloween disco I thought was next friday
is in fact today.....
in 3 hours...
and that the ghost costume I put togeather at 6 this morning
has been discarded
for an idea of wanting to surprise her classmates
with a whole new outfit....
yeay ;)
Is not what I said initially
:)
Well ok lets start over then....
Well ok lets start over then....
She initially had no idea what to do...vapire maybe but the cape was spoken for....skeleton...a little "day of the dead" thing going on....50% pretty make up 50% skeleton....different shoes on also...
The house turns into caos fast, as the eldest daughter searches for the exact right things for a costume...the wardrobe has to be turned inside out and all options sought out. Mom gets very careful instructions as to make up and details of hair and nails...and everything from kids face paint to makeup and paint gets spread over the kitchen table.
It's good to have taken drama and been to a small class in make up for the stage :)
The younger daughter has a little bit less of a process having chosen a vampire gown in the store. A bit of white facepaint and a lot of glitter to top it of being a bit twilight inspired. She hesitated a lot to letting me paint the blood with a permanent marker....but it does look a thousand times better than face paint ;)
